Aotearoa’s untapped value in circular economy laid out in new report

A new white paper, ‘Circular by Nature: Realising Aotearoa New Zealand’s Full Potential. What will it take?’ sets out how Aotearoa New Zealand can realise the value of its resources to address the rising cost of living and of doing business. Its central finding is that infrastructure, policy and business leadership must work together to make that happen.
New Kantar research in the paper shows New Zealanders are already ready for a circular future and want to do more.
Released this month, the paper is designed as a decision-making tool for the boardroom, the minister’s office and the council chamber. The circular economy is already happening here, operating mostly on goodwill, but its true value is yet to be realised.
The paper shows what a circular future looks like across how we live, eat and move, and sets out three recommendations to get there. Click through to read the Executive Summary here.
