Climate change and plastics pollution are the defining challenges of our generation. More than 330,000 tonnes of used plastics are sent to landfill in Aotearoa every year, presenting a huge challenge and an even bigger opportunity to explore what can be done to lessen this impact on the climate.
Founded on the goal to be good tīpuna (ancestors) for future generations so our tamariki (children) can prosper for thousands of years to come, Critical. is building both the products and the technology platform to transform plastic waste into beautiful, low carbon and endlessly recyclable materials specifically designed for the building industry.
Clare is backing Critical. in their seed investment round as they embark to end plastic pollution and lower carbon emissions for the built environment in Aotearoa and for the rest of the world.
