Founded in 1976, P.A.C.I.F.I.C.A (Pacific Allied (Women’s) Council Inspires Faith in Ideals Concerning All) was established with a core purpose to support the aspirations of Pasifika women in New Zealand, creating opportunities and encouraging each other to contribute and participate in the wider community especially on issues that affect them and their families.
Across 20 branches, P.A.C.I.F.I.C.A provides specific initiatives and opportunities promoting the education, welfare, health and social development of Pasifika families and Pasifika family life, designed to help Pasifika women reach their full potential, overcome barriers and inspire them to speak with one voice in true fellowship.
Clare’s support will help the P.A.C.I.F.I.C.A team to focus on creating and delivering these vital programmes, by contributing towards the everyday organisational expenses.
